Summer Schools 2026
St George's Summer Schools are back! With nine courses available over two weeks, for children from any school aged 6 to 18 years.
Creative Arts (July) |

The objective of a creative arts class is to nurture imagination and self-expression while introducing students to a variety of artistic techniques. It aims to develop fine motor skills, encourage creative problem-solving, and build confidence through hands-on projects. Additionally, the class promotes collaboration and appreciation of diverse art forms, creating a fun and inclusive environment for learning. Ball Sports (July) |

In ball sports, students will gain exposure to a range of popular activities including basketball, football, netball, dodgeball, and volleyball. Core skills for each sport will be introduced and broken down step‑by‑step, followed by engaging small‑sided matches that allow students to apply their learning in a fun, game‑based setting. Rugby (July) |

The main objectives of rugby summer camps are to develop players' technical skills, tactical understanding, and physical fitness, while also building character, confidence, sportsmanship, and teamwork through expert coaching, fun games, and social activities. Acting for Stage (August) |

To offer students the opportunity to rehearse and stage a full play within a week, developing their performance skills through an intensive creative process. To build confidence, collaboration, and effective communication through ensemble-based group work both on and off the stage. When: Monday to Friday, 24 to 28 August, 9am to 3pm |

Art, Craft & Design (August) |

Explore a variety of Art and Craft activities and hone your skills! This summer school includes a painting workshop, wood burning, plush toy making, tote bag sewing with screenprinting, air dry clay tealights and cyanotype art. Sessions will be borken up with fun and fast craft activities that encourage creativity and imagination. When: Monday to Friday, 24 to 28 August, 9am to 3pm |

Sports Development (August) |

Educate students on a variety of sports and human movement, helping them understand how the body performs and responds during physical activity. Students will also learn about the emotional, physical, and mental aspects involved in participating in sports, promoting a more holistic appreciation of movement and wellbeing. Psychology in the Wild (August) |

Students will learn how everyday behaviours such as procrastination, copying others, and forming first impressions are influenced by automatic psychological processes. They will apply these ideas to real-life situations like misinformation and habit formation, and explore simple, practical strategies to improve their focus, decision making, and daily habits.
